SUMMARY                

Background includes a proven record of experience in project management, software development, and research and development.

I am currently an ACS ITO Service Delivery Manager (SDM). I have been in the IT Industry since 1992. My responsibilities include working with our business partners and various teams both within and outside of ACS to manage and deliver high quality software development projects in a timely manner.

I have been involved in many large projects and am accustomed to managing 16 simultaneous projects at a time spread across a team of 18. Team members are located in multiple states and in multiple offshore locations. The team is split into the following tiers: Quality Assurance, Production Control, Production Support, Development, and Networking

I have participated in the successful completion of over 180 projects in varying size (up to 5000 hours) and scope as both a developer and SDM while at ACS. These projects have provided improved quality, reduced processing costs, improved efficiency, and generated revenue for the customer.

I pride myself in my ability to understand the technical details of a project while also having the ability to see the "big picture" and effectively communicate non-technically with the business to provide high quality results.

• Managed projects and coordinated with customer, business, production, and development teams both domestic and abroad to take projects successfully from start to finish in a timely manner.
• Developed reporting system to easily generate various reports from our unrelated Time Tracking system and project management in order to track estimated -vs- actual phase times and overall project health.
• Refined and implemented “Software Development Life Cycle” processes, procedures, and documents, in order to improve software quality.
• Assembled project plans, test specifications, implementation plans, Gantt charts, and other documentation to keep project progress in check.

• Project Management for Domestic and International New Product Development.  Assembled technical project specifications, goals, timelines, and milestones to ensure that software and hardware met the requirements set by management, UL, VdS and other standards.
• Developed software applications for Windows and Linux platforms to interface with electronic hardware for data analysis, real time data acquisition and processing. Many applications included interfacing with Bar Code Readers to accelerate data input and improve accuracy and other unique integration requirements using pneumatics or sensors.
• Established testability and accuracy standards for product test fixtures and software.

• Formed US Branch of Jaron Multimedia Productions.
• Responsible for reporting to corporate office, based in Frankfurt, Germany of software development status and offer suggestions for enhancements.
• Turnkey solution provider for shrink-wrap application development.
• Developed software applications for Windows and LINUX platforms using JBuilder, C++ Builder, and PERL Builder along with other tools and utilities.
• Determined complete system and bandwidth server requirements to ensure optimal application performance.

04/1996 – 02/2000      Denso Manufacturing TN, Maryville, TN: Equipment Design Specialist/Production Engineering (ISO/QS 9000 Certified Company)

• Formed ICT department for Engine Control unit plant.
• Improved quality of electronic engine control units and reduced defects by developing/implementing hardware and software applications for HP3070 (Agilent) and Tescon in-circuit test equipment (ICT) and production line automation.
• Analyzed, diagnosed, troubleshoot, tested, and repaired multi-layered Engine Control Units to the component level and built digital/analog circuitry consisting of discrete and integrated components.
• Established testability and accuracy standards for product test fixtures and software.
